Magnetic North follows a structured, three-stage process to move from initial discovery to successful website launch. Each stage is designed to reduce ambiguity, build clarity, and establish alignment between all parties before development begins.
Stage 1 is a high-level discovery phase where we work collaboratively to define the goals and scope of the project. This stage allows us to define the important details to deliver a budgetary figure for the project. Considerations in this phase include integration goals, vendor identification for integrations, data integrity, site structure and page count, and recommended CMS.
Deliverables:
In Stage 2, we expand the Statement of Work to bring definition to the issues identified in Stage 1. We will analyze and map processes and select vendors for integrations. We will conduct a detailed data review and establish a data plan with responsibilities identified. During this phase we also wireframe important pages in the website to determine the features and functionality. At the end of this stage, we will deliver a statement of work with a project price.
Deliverables:
The final stage of the project, Stage 3, is when we execute on everything we’ve defined in the previous stages. This includes designing, developing, and QA of all pages and functionality in the website.
